Least unhealthy fast food

Just because something has fewer calories does not necessarily mean it's better for you. I'd much rather eat a Chipotle salad (just meat, lettuce, salsa, veggies, and guac as PP suggested) than a kids hamburger and fries any day. It's much less processed, has good fat rather than gross saturated fats and empty carbs, and will keep me satisfied much longer.

Chik filet has some good options. Even the kids' nugget meals come with the option of grilled nuggets or fried nuggets. Sub out the waffle fries for a small fruit bowl.

Agreed. Quality of the calorie matters. A healthy-ingredient meal with more calories, is a MUCH better way to go, than low-calorie crap.

If you calculate the amount of calories of the Chipotle bowl with veggis, beans, rice, guacamole and no cheese, sour cream is around 500 which is perfect for a lunch. No much argument for "tons of calories" and much healthier than anything McDonalds.

At McDonalds, get the premium wrap with grilled not fried chicken. Or their salads but not with a creamy dressing.

Chipotle, get a bowl but skip the sour cream, cheese, and rise.

Five Guys little hamburger is 450 calories. Skip ketchup (full of sugar) and cheese.

I eat out a fair amount due ot necessity, and watch my calories. NEVER get fries -- they'll double the calorie coujnt of your meal basically. Hamburgers are fine, just watch the toppings and skip the cheese.

I get hamburgers with lettuce, tomato, mustard, onions. Mustard has no calories basically.

Yes, but you don't have to eat all of it, and least it is real, recognizable food, not factory farmed, fried slop. Healthy does not only equal low calories.

And like three other smart people beat me to the same thought!

Actually according to the nutrition calculator on their website this exact order is 405 calories.

Putting aside the calorie count of the Chipotle bowl, OP said she (she, right?) didn't want a salad because she wanted something easier to eat on the go. A Chipotle would be just as hard to eat on the go, and if you put it in a wrap/burrito, you pretty much double the calorie count, so I'd nix that.

Eat This, Not That will give what to eat for each fast food place. ETNT rocks.

Love this book!!!

You'll be surprised at what's healthy/not healthy at restaurants.

I think that Chick-fila is my favorite fast food. Lots of protein on the grilled chicken. It's on the "Eat this" list, paired with fruit.
Arby's classic roast beef is on the "Eat this" list as well, paired with a salad and water.

Is 250cal lunch enough for a grown up?

Grilled items. No cheese, mayo, creamy sauce. Salads with dressing on the side.

Panera is my go-to pick. Love the Black Bean Soup and the salads.

At Chipotle I love the vegetarian burrito with no cheese/sour cream.
