Mom, I told you we did this back in December. All notes went out. Did you think I wouldn't thank someone? I am grateful for all gifts and thanked everyone appropriately. You keep mentioning it, though, which has me concerned for your mental state. Do you need to see a doctor about this? Are you forgetful with other issues? Now I'm worried about you.

My mom did this with bridal shower Thank yous. Turns out about 1/4 of the thank yous I'd written never got to their recipients. My mom was obsessing over it because some of her friends had mentioned not receiving a thank you.

Have you asked your mom if someone is saying they haven't received one?
