| Another vote for a strep test--urgent care can do if you don't want to go to the pediatrician. if the quick test is negative they should do the longer test. Just because the sore throat is gone, doesn't mean it wasn't strep. I have had kids with strep who've had no symptoms; we caught it only because they were tested when strep was found in a symptomatic sibling. Strep can be evil. |

| DS had a 102+ fever yesterday with no other symptoms. He's never had a fever before, so I called ped office to ask if/when they need to see him. Nurse told me to call on Sat (3 days) if he was still running a fever. Given that it has been 4 days for your DD, then I would definitely call your ped. |
