Please stop referring to your toddler's age in months.

Even after one I think it's clear enough to say one and a half or almost 2. But there I go using almost!

OP,you have got to be kidding. How on earth is saying 18 months annoying but saying one and a half is OK? You know both phrases indicate the exact same time measurement.

If you stop someone on the street and ask what time it is some will answer.... 10 of 3, 2:50, almost 3, 10 til 3, or 2:52 if they are an engineer. 99.99% of the population will say thank you and go on their way happy to know the time. Only moms can get annoyed with each other when other people decide not to convey the age measurement of their child in the EXACT same way she does for her child.

30 inches or 2 1/2 feet. When using months or inches, which are smaller increments than years and feet, it is easier to visulaize with the larger increment after a certain point.
To me, that point is after 2 feet and 2 years.
