I consider myself liberal for the most part, but I have to agree that conservative men do seem to have a more manly quality about them.

One of the big issues is the difference between dominance and controlling. Feminists see them as the same. I see controlling behavior as weak, rather than dominant.

Liberal men tend to bend over backwards to try and be perceived as sensitive to feminist issues, often not differentiating between feminism and rabid feminism. They don't want to be 'labeled'. This can make them seem weak

Maybe Ted Nugent meets the definition of a conservative real man. One who I consider a pedophile who seduced many underage girls to get his kicks and has recently called the President a subhuman mongrel.
