Not OP but finances can be especially important with a SN child. Between multiple therapists, the additional cost you pay for childcare, camp and other services on top of what you pay for a NT child and if you are looking at long term care for the child into adulthood- it can be daunting. Sometimes family comes first by making sure you can provide all of the services recommended to give your SN child the best opportunity for a positive future.

It's all hard. Raising SN kids takes money, time and tons of
superhuman patience. You do the best with whatever combination you have
and tell yourself all you can do is your best.
