Peanut butter to go and no nuts rule at preschool

Anonymous
I am also pregnant and also love Jiff. Regular Jiff isn't great, but the natural one is healthy, and so is "simply Jiff." (VERY low in sugar) I eat those by the spoonful.

We're not a fan of extra packaging and avoid it if possible, so if I were going to send in sunbutter to preschool, I'd do it in a small reusable container.

Because many preschools have rules that you can't bring any nut products into the building at all.

Op, I know Jiff is considered highly processed, but it is still my favorite. So creamy and delic! I can't get into any of the natural brands, and I normally avoid most processed foods. Jiff is my weakness (especially when smeared on a Ritz cracker and topped with a small square of chocolate - yum!!!)

Reading comprehension please!! The first poster here means send in sunbutter in a very small tupperware container. That way, you don't have to look for sunbutter to-go or something like that.

Wow, somebody woke up on the wrong side of bed. So sorry that I misinterpreted the totally unambiguous "it" in the PP's post. In your interpretation, how about because the OP specifically asked about small packages for the convenience factor? Telling her to use a small Tupperware is the exact opposite of her request.

Amazon sells these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00445JYTK/ref=dp_olp_0?ie=UTF8&condition=all, but they're packets, so if your kid is anything like mine, she'd still need a container to use so she could dip the carrots/apples/whatever, but she might be able to just squeeze the sunflower seed butter into the carrot container?

I send PB or almond butter for lunch with cut-up apples a lot, and the only containers that don't seem to leak for us are the Tupperware ones. (I have tried many!) While not as convenient as the pre-filled single-serve cups, if you bought several, you could at least make up a week's worth all at the same time, so they'd be at the ready. I like the Tupperware "smidget" sizes. Good luck!
