It's fine but I suggest a silky crewneck or (not low) v-neck. Something less mannish than a silk top with collar.

Actually, I know it still matters to some older men (who are often the ones doing the interview). You don't see people caring as much in the federal government, but when I was in private practice (BigLaw firm), I think the older partners would've either consciously or subconsciously let it affect their impressions of the job candidate.
