| Worked for me. Also this is the federal government - not exactly tops in style points. Just look presentable.k |
| It's fine but I suggest a silky crewneck or (not low) v-neck. Something less mannish than a silk top with collar. |
Actually, I believe we have Senator Mikulski to thank. I am pretty sure she was the first woman to wear a pant suit on the Senate floor. |
|
How old are you OP?
Its like this is a question from the 60s. |
| Actually, I know it still matters to some older men (who are often the ones doing the interview). You don't see people caring as much in the federal government, but when I was in private practice (BigLaw firm), I think the older partners would've either consciously or subconsciously let it affect their impressions of the job candidate. |
I stand corrected. Go Babs!! |
This is a joke... right? |
Agree. |
| A pantsuit is fine. |
lol |
Why would it be a joke? You think an editor shouldn't be a GS 13? |
|
HA. Even in a pant suit you'll be the best dressed person there.
|
LOL - no the joke is the pp wasn't grammatically correct in her sentence and is applying for an editor position. That's funny! |
