What "bad English"? |
Most here couldn't carry her panties. No evidence, no case. |
It's not my job to promote CAP, and it clearly doesn't need any cheerleaders anyway. Personally, out of pure self-interest, it would be great if it was less attractive. Then maybe my 7th grader would have a shot next year if there were a few hundred less applicants. |
Having been thru the CAP program I can tell you it is a shadow of itself. The poster who hopes it becomes less attractive so that her child will get in will get her wish.
If you don't believe me get some of the print matter they put out and checkout the quality. I know, I know, some of you will find the quality is excellent. That is part of the problem with MCPS today, we hold them to a lower standard. |
NP here. OK, I too think this is the "go to Poolesville because Blair has been overrun by gangs, it's in a 'low-class' neighborhood, and also the Magnet Administrator is taking over CAP" poster. Your latest post adds a new twist, though: apparently you have a personal vendetta against Johnson. You're wrong on most points. Apparently you're letting your dislike of Johnson and your love of Poolesville cloud the facts. You admit (in bold above) that you don't have a kid at Blair, so you're going on gossip. It's hard to argue with your randomness and irrationality. Still it's important to try. A few days ago several of us demonstrated to you that in fact CAP has had the same administrator for at least five years. You were indisputably wrong and out of date on that point. So why should anybody trust you about Johnson or anything else about Blair? But for our benefit, would you care to say why you hate Johnson (and by some bizarre extension, Blair, CAP and the magnet) so much? Did Johnson refuse to pander to your snowflake when you were at TPMS? Are you a Poolesville sophomore trolling for fun? |
You are ridiculous! Anybody can go to their website and see some high quality "print matter." Here, knock yourselves out: http://cap.mbhs.edu/ I did get a kick out of, "if you find the quality is excellent, that's only because it's excellent for MCPS". You are bat-sh!t crazy, my friend! I hope you realize we're laughing at you. And it doesn't speak very well of Poolesville. |
And while you're visiting the CAP website, there is a link that will take you to the college destinations for the Class of 2013. Clearly a number of the nation's most selective colleges were fooled by CAPs collapsing standards. |
I now get the white flight from the Silver Spring area. I get your obsession with bashing Poolesville which you seem to equate with your demise. RIP |
Hmm, I find (properly vetted) Twitter accounts to be really useful for breaking on the ground news in my field. I'd never know so quickly or in such detail about incidents in CAR, Sudan, Syria, etc. But, you have to pick the right people to follow…. I also find Twitter quite useful for advocacy. MCPS, however, provides nothing useful via Twitter except, IMO. |
Exactly. I just don't find arguments about Johnson's twitter use being a good example for CAP students particularly confidence building about the opinion of the CAP booster. In fact, I didn't find Johnson's constant tweeting useful or to be a dialogue between stakehoders and an administrator. |
Ugh. MCPS at its finest. And to the deluded poster slavishly congratulating this principal, please stop. You're ridiculous. |
NP who is considering moving to Tak Pk and would actually like to know what is going on at Blair. Excited to know the principal got an award. |
I have to ask: what drugs are you on? Show us where anyone, on this thread or any other thread, has bashed Poolesville. That has not happened. On the other hand, you have been making Poolesville look bad all by yourself. How? By spewing a constant stream of bizarre venom about Blair, Johnson and CAP. (Why the CAP hate, anyway? So bizarre.) You even admit you don't have a child at Blair and all your info is hearsay or fabricated. The only thing your posts prove is that one Poolesville parent is crazy. |
What on earth are you talking about? Nobody here has linked Johnson's Twitter to CAP and/or claimed the first is a "good example" for the second. |
Definitely the Poolesville poster - this is one of her favorite themes. Move along, folks, nothing to see here. |
