Does anyone know if MOM (my organic market) in Alexandria is still open?

I agree, prices are higher. But they carry some things WF doesn't.

And, every single worker there is nice all of the time. I like the small talk as they carry my bags to my car. Makes the day more grounded and helps me live in the moment and not just mentally go through my remaining errands. I hasn't really thought about it, but pp is right- it is calm.

I loathe the place and try never to go. I went once to the one in the Mosaic. Never again.

Glad to hear so many people like it. They are building one across from where we live on Lee Highway in courthouse.
I had not heard of it before.

We go to the alexandria one,
Less stock so I have very targeted items I buy there - some meats that whole foods doesn't carry and the store brand milk (which is almost half the price of grass fed milk from whole foods). Their bulk foods are better -- not as disheveled as whole foods and same good supply. I do prefer the produce at whole foods, though. I'm a sucker for display and marketing and variety. There's a lot more at whole foods in that regard. I end up spending less when I go to moms and am probably happier for it / no impulse $15 purchases here and there
