S/O how much is your mortgage/rent payment?

OP - don't forget that some of these payments may include substantial down payments that drive down the mortgage payment.

Like I'm paying $2,375/mo for a 4BR/2BA SFH in North Arlington. But that's after putting down $150K for a lower mortgage payment. Houses similar to mine rent for $3,400/mo.

House down the street with a smaller floor plan just rented for $2500/month, so I feel like our payment is reasonable.

1100 (townhouse in Fairfax)...I prepay the mortgage principal balance so I'm hoping it will be paid off in 3 years or so.
