Wrong sized diapers? Or is my baby just a poop factory

this has started happening to us too. does anyone know what causes the poop to shoot up out of the diaper and up their back? this morning i had to change my daughter into her backup outfit before i'd even left daycare to go to work! (I'll try the "folding down the top of the diaper trick - had forgotten that i used to do that while babysitting.)

I don't think you are ready for size 4 yet-My son is a big 15month old wearing that size.

I am the OP, I do think the diapers were too big. I got a bag of Huggies size 2's and they worked much better. I just ran out and now I got a box of swaddlers 2-3's and I think they are still a bit big, so the plain 3's were definitely too big for him. They should make trial packs of 5 dipers so you can buy them and test the size before buying a box of 150. Now that I went back to the swaddlers I feel like the huggies fit him better, I don't think I will ever get this right
