Has anyone gotten into SACC before your child started school?

I got on the list immediately and signed them up this past summer. They will begin school in the fall.

In FCPS district the numbers are substantially down - by approximately 30% so not a problem for anyone trying to get in there

not in McLean or Marshall districts, after care programs are booming

You cannot generalize about a program that has over 140 sites. Some are under capacity but some have waiting lists that last years. It depends on what is available in each school's district.

I posted earlier. My kindergarten kid got into both morning and afternoon sacc at Hunt Valley without being wait listed.

Am I eligible to get on a several wait lists? Looking at purchasing a home in Wakefield elementary area, but have an Arlington address for at least another couple of months. I didn't realize some schools opened wait lists 2 years in advance, my DS starts K this Sep.

You can be on 2 lists.
