I don't think you derailed the thread (OP here), it relates to preventing injuries and how to get better at exercises like squats and DL. Two toughest exercises to execute in my mind, since it's a compound exercise everything has to be working properly, from form to mobility. It took me about 2 yrs to get the DL down (without working with a personal trainer) It just takes practice and time. i took my share of lumps and bruises along the way. My lower back used to always be sore the next day from DL but not anymore, unless I go for PR it's a little sore but not like before. |
Thank you! I wish I knew all you ladies that love to DL. I go to pretty big gym and I only know one other woman that does. Although, to be fair, I don't really see a ton of guys doing them either. Oh well! The area is always open when I want it ps - I hardly every RDL, let alone single leg. Thanks for the reminder!
