This. You should probably restrict calories AND run the stairs in your building/home for 30 just in case.

Whoa. Anorexic, maybe? It may be news to you, but running is not just for weight loss but for overall fitness.

Um, that person was joking.

I have a 1/2 marathon coming up in the next few weeks and REALLY need to get in something a bit longer.

OP here and I was thinking three miles for me tomorrow. My runs vary from 3 to 15 -- I run a lot of half marathons. And I could care less about my weight, I just love to run.

PP, its going up to the 50s this weekend. Maybe your longest run this weekend and then start tapering?

I ran yesterday so I don't have to today. Brrrrr. I think I could probably dress to stay warm but I don't feel like putting that strain on my respitory system. There's just no need to run outside today when yesterday and tomorrow are reasonable temps.

Indoor treadmill for me today.

Oh HELL no. This weather is the reason they created treadmills. And one of the few reasons I'll use one.

(Also, pretty sure 20:18 is being sarcastic!!)

Thanks, yes that's the plan for now! My 1/2 marathon is in a warmer state (California) and I bought a new pair of shorts that I want to wear for the race, so I need to actually try them out on a long run here first. I'm debating on whether I should pay a daily use fee at a local gym with an indoor track, or wait 'till this weekend and hope the 50s are warm enough!
