Seems to me Hillary could offer to host them. She already has SS protection at her house as a former first lady. Also an Obama supporter, and I think it would be a very nice and classy thing for her to do. (I supported HRC in the primaries, so I am not playing favorites here).

Doesn't Obama have a pied a terre in DC? Where did he live as a senator. This is ten days folks - relocating families go through some inconvenience all the time. I moved with a toddler, pregnant with my second, and we were in an 'all suites' hotel for almost a month - transfer came and DH had to report to work two weeks later.

Why does everything have to become personal and turn into 'blame' or worse yet a personal assault on someone's character? Get a life.

Plenty of high-target visitors to Washington and heads of state stay at hotels.
