You spent a lot of money on a coat because you thought it was "in?"

How stupid are you?

Never mind that. How can it be "in" if everybody is wearing them(it was in right before that), even the poors. 4 out of 10 people seem to be wearing it.The half fuzzy jackets are so ugly.Remind me of the patched up army uniform.
OP, ask her what she wants for Christmas.

They are cool to have nothing special anymore. I found mine at Marshall's

Since they are no longer "cool", they appear a little less ghetto to me so I will probably buy one now. I have heard they are really warm.

Canada Goose is much more coveted but quite a bit more coin.

I think it was a joke, PP. So the question is, how stupid are you?

not out as much as overdone. Now that EVERYONE is wearing them including grandma, Northface is just there. Their products are still fine. I am 39 and would not wear it (hate feeling like I am wearing a uniform) nor buy it for my kids since there are so many kids with the same jackets/sweatshirts-too easy to lose.

Funny because I think of it as a brand that isn't about kids and trends so much as middle aged men and women who are really outdoorsy. My kid's grandma was wearing it long ago!

I don't really care if they're "in" or not. They're warm, and they last. My kids have had their North Face coats for 3 years in and they still look new.

North Face jackets are high quality, expensive jackets in the same category as patagonia and marmot.

They might have been a bit rarer a years ago, but I don't really see how that's relevant.

Anyone that gets too hung up on the "hotness" of a winter coat is a bit crazy.

Teenagers are known for that.
