Due with my first (a boy) April 7th. Feeling good so far--never had nausea! Had a little sciatic pain, but after a week of hobbling around, the chiropractor changed stuff around and made it all better
Name has been picked out since around 14 weeks. Was able to see movement from the outside for the first time a couple nights ago. Surreal. |

Happy holidays, everyone!
Due April 19 with first baby (boy). Have a name, feeling... OK. Excited so many other moms are due around the same time. Delivering at Sibley.
Has anyone started calling pediatricians yet? That is next on my list but maybe I'm too early. |
| Hi ladies! I'm glad someone started this! I'm due April 18 with our first child, a girl. We're delivering at Sibley. I'm feeling pretty good. I'm starting to get hip pain, which isn't so fun, but yoga and a heating pad help. Also, heartburn. I'm a little nervous that I feel this baby kicking right under my boobs and we still have 4 months to go. Be nice baby, I like having my lungs where they are! |
I have pelvic pain too! I didn't have it the first time around, so it was a surprise, although as another PP said, supposedly it's quite common. This will be my second. Due April 19, and delivering with GW midwives. |

I'm 24 weeks:
Feeling somewhat anxious and exhausted. Struggling to get around some - I have S curve scoliosis with poor pelvic muscle tone and ruptured discs, so even with the belly belt, its starting to get tough! I'm worried I will be put on bedrest before its all over with :-/ This is our first child and its a BOY!!!! We are thrilled!! I am delivering at The Birthing Inn with Loudoun Community Midwives - the best of both worlds in my opinion! |
| Gained way too much over the holidays! I'll be hitting the exercise pretty hard starting the 1st, through to the end! |

We are due the first week of April with our first child. Super excited. Not sure yet where we are delivering.
I am starting to feel quite large and just went to the gym yesterday for the first time this whole pregnancy. Its never too late right? I took it easy, but I'd like to be more committed to working out. With the birth coming up so soon, I'm concerned about being in as good physical shape as possible. Prior to being pregnant I ran on a regular basis. |
| Never too late. Good for you, and good luck, 16:02! |
| Hi ladies! I'm 25 wks. Having our first boy sometime around April 14th. Delivering at Sibley. I feel like my stomach has really popped in the last 2 weeks. I've been feeling great, until recently... Had an old running injury (stress fracture/ edema) flare up in my foot. Hobbling around hoping I'm feeling better by the time I go back to work next week. No name picked out yet, but working on his nursery. I'll be pretty excited once it is somewhat set up! Happy bun baking everyone! |

How is everyone doing?
I am due mid-April and just started feeling major round ligament pain. I didn't have it with my first, had it earlier with my second, and now it's arrived with #3. Basically, I am uncomfortable if I walk or stand for long periods of time... No fun! Happy New Year everyone! |
Me too! I didn't have it with my 1st 3 but got it last time and it's just starting this time. My pelvic bone feels like it's being pulled open-OUCH! Hurts to cross my legs, get out of bed or even lift my leg to put my pants on. I panicked when it happened with my last pregnancy but of course googled it and it's common. Thankfully, it goes away shortly after delivery. |

I too, gained too much weight over the holidays! 7 pounds in 4 weeks, yikes. Doctor said maybe I'm just catching up (first 20 weeks had little weight gain) but I'm being careful about boredom snacking now, for sure.
Under 100 days to go! |

Hi April mamas,
I'm technically a May mama (May 1 official due date, but last ultrasound was predicting April 29!) I'm almost 26 weeks and feeling OK - some sciatica and some pain in the tops of my feet. We're expecting our first baby - a girl. We just decided on Washington Hospital Center for the birth, glad to have that figured out! Hope everyone is feeling well! |

I am the OP and glad to see so many responses!
I felt a big weight gain in the last month and just confirmed a six pound increase since my last appointment. I feel the round ligament pain, fatigue and back discomfort... don't mean to complain, but I am starting to feel like the, 'tired, pregnant lady!' I also have to select a date for my scheduled C-section. I am anxious and anticipatory about this, as I am pulled in so many directions with what is the right date (my drs. give me a range), which doctor in my practice to go with, which day of the week, etc. (Any feedback on this is welcomed!) Hope all April moms-to-be are feeling well! |

Hey folks I am reviving this a bit... I didnt see it last time around. I am due in mid April and feel like I am having a hard pregnancy this time around. I was pretty nauseous to begin with which has faded but I have been exhausted and having lots of pains which is no fun. There have been a couple times now where I was in pretty intense pain. Yesterday all day being one of them not sure if it was contractions (yikes!) or extremely bad gas pains... Hoping for gas pains...
To the OP what was the range of dates you were told to pick from? Also what doc practice are you with... Hard for people to give in put on who to go with if they dont know more details! Best to all of you! |
