| Go in when the morning rush is over and try talking with her. Great time of year to ask her about holiday plans, family, trips out of town. More conversation will give you a better feel for what is going on. Don't just pepper her with questions, leave some gaps so, if she is interested, she can ask you questions. |

I was a barista and a bartender for many years. I'd give free drinks to people I considered regulars because that's just good business. Also, during the holidays people tend to more generous.
You could try to make friendly conversation but I'm sure she is just being nice. |

A lady gives you free coffee and punches your coupon card and you take it as flirting? Really? You need to calm down, she's probably just being friendly.
If she's really flirting with you she'll have strong eye contact and have more conversation with you. Else, she's just being nice and looking for a better tip. Nice woman doesn't equal flirting. |
I do buy coffee regularly but I seldom (1-2 month) frequent this store. Seems like the consensus is to proceed cautiously. |

Female here. I don't flirt, nor do I like flirty people. I feel like flirty people flirt with everyone, and if they flirt with me, I could be anyone. Just a personal hang up, but I believe in it strongly. Are you flirty, OP? It sounds like you might not be. Would you wink at her? |
Hahaha....Thanks for the laugh
