According to Baby Bargains, the newborn nappers are too soft to be safe. We ended up going with one that had a changer but not a napper because of that recommendation. The changer is nice for traveling or if you have a big enough house that you don't want to be constantly going upstairs to the regular changing table. Our house is small, so we've probably used the changer all of ten times at home. |
I bought a PNP with the bassinet insert, but didn't bother with the napper or the changing table. Worked great--our baby slept in our room in the bassinet for four months. |
We have used two, both without the newborn napper and changer. We have a Chicco at home and a Graco at my inlaws´. But I highly recommend getting the MamaDoo Kids mattress topper for much needed extra comfort and support. It makes a HUGE difference (the "mattress" in the pack n play is awful). It folds in 3 so it super convenient!! Good luck! |
