^^ A girl needs more than one pair of jeans! Also should not be high rise.
Abercrombie and Hollister are what my 7th grader covets. As skinny as possible, dark wash or distressed with premade holes in the knees.
If budget is an issue, you can also check out H&M. They are generally inexpensive but as far as I can tell are acceptably trendy.
I also know zip about what teens want, but when I recently bought new jeans, Amazon had the best prices on premium brands. Some styles are on sale for cyber monday. They have free returns, so the rejects can go back free.
American Eagle Outfitters
please don't allow your daughters to wear abercrombie
My 5' 1" stick thin dd cannot find a single pair of jeans at any of the Abercrombie family of stores that fits her right. it drives her crazy. Aeropostale jeans fit great.
Take her to Nordstom and use a personal shopper. It can still be a surprise, just a bit ahead of Christmas.
My 16-year-old likes Hollister best. The store's website is having a Cyber Monday sale today. Half off and free shipping. She just ordered a pair for $24.
+1 |
If you really want to surprise her--gift wrap a pair of Tough Skins! (Have real present waiting in the wings.) |

OP, these are brands listed from last year, but really not much has changed:
