Really?? Does a baby/toddler need this

The world has officially gone to hell.

It hurts my eyes imagining my baby looking at that. Especially when captive in one of those bouncy seats. Ouch.

#1. So terrible. Ha ha ha.

I kept looking for the part where it said this is a joke. But apparently, it's real. Get a regular mirror, PP.

It was me. Skype is your video monitor and the camera is your mirror.

I don't see the big deal.

Why do you need a monitor for a baby strapped to a bouncy?

I can see people who are trying to look like they are more well off than they are would get one (like oh look our baby has this even though we can't afford diapers).

I am in no way defending this product but this is an odd statement. I'm not sure I see the connection.

I totally thought this post was going to be about the iPotty but looks like someone else brought it up!

The same reason you need one when they're in their crib or in your bed.

Well, under-twos are supposed to get at least two hours of screen time/day, right? I can see how this product would be a big help-it gets really tiring holding an infant facing the tv or computer, but you gotta do what you gotta do to help them succeed!

Ugh. Our society is going to hell in a handbasket. Some of the commercials they are showing for video games are so violent. Seems so obvious there's a connection between video games and random violence (an unstable mind can't differentiate between a video game where everyone comes back to life the next time they play, vs. real life shootings). Introducing video games earlier and earlier is certainly not the answer.

DS received an apptivity case for my ipad for his first bday - it went right back to the store. We'll show him very occasional videos (usually choo choos) and that's it.

I have something like this that attaches the iPad to a toddler toliet...hangs head in shame...it did get us out of diapers though!!

You might need a monitor if your crib is on a different floor, or otherwise far away, or if you're asleep and need a little more noise to wake you up. But there's really no reason to be far enough from your baby when they're in a bouncy in the daytime that you wouldn't be able to hear them.

I thought this was a joke too. Hasn't anybody seen Wall-e? This product is like the mark of the beast! The first step towards:
