[/quote] You might need a monitor if your crib is on a different floor, or otherwise far away, or if you're asleep and need a little more noise to wake you up. But there's really no reason to be far enough from your baby when they're in a bouncy in the daytime that you wouldn't be able to hear them. [/quote]
