Elliot for a girl?

I know a 3-yr old girl Elliot and I think it's nice.

How about Eloise? I can't imagine how frustrating it is for a girl/woman to always be mistaken for a man.

Cute. I know a girl Elliot who is in middle school. I also know a high school girl named Eli, for a male relative-works great for her.
True that people may see the name on paper and think it's a boy, so what? But what about all those girls named Harper, Charlie, Sawyer, Teddy, Wyatt, Taylor, Sydney, Logan etc?

Love it for a boy. Hate it for girl. Use it for a middle name if you must, but find another girls name that shortens to Elly.

I probably wouldn't do Elliott for a girl, but I love Ellery.

Just sounds like you had a boys name picked out but then had a girl and just stayed with the boy name. Oh, wait.
