tastes vary, I understand that, but this is probably the most loved, respected American film I can think of. A saw a poll a few years back of Hollywood industry people who called it their favorite film. I've watched it maybe 25 times and think it is nearly perfect. |

Shakespeare in Love, any of the other Best Picture nominees was more deserving
Chicago Million Dollar Baby Lost in Translation Last but not least: Paranormal Activity, I know it's not on anyone's best of all time list, but I love horror movies and expected a decent scare I can't believe someone said Ghost. I love that movie |

Agree with this - enjoyable but totally overrated. I disagree with the OP, though. Dangerous Liaisons was fantastic, IMO. |
