Sorry, but Odyssey is not considered as a luxury car.

Bought a luxury car as a reward for saving up enough to retire. Mercedes.

75k car; 250k base income

Our situation is unique though in that we inherited a paid off house. And DH can get big bonuses at work (which he used to pay for the car in cash)

It's not but it could gave cost more than an entry level Audi for instance. Before he upgraded, my H an A4 which he paid 35k for. I have a Toyota Sienna (similar in price to the Odyssey) which we paid 45k for. So you never know.

HHI around $500K. I just bought a new car a month ago. It's not that we can't afford a lux. car, it's that it's just doesn't make sense. Our kids are 3 and 6. My car hauls car seats, kids crap, and lots and lots of cheerios --all over the floor. Which then get stepped on. And then the water spills on them. And the dirty feet end up all over the back of the front seats...the list goes on and on.

I looked at a Q7 and a Cayenne. And they are beautiful, fun to drive. But in the end, practicality won out. My kids can trash my low end SUV as well as then can the high end one.

160 - 200k, 1 Porsche, 2 MBZ AMGs, 1 MINI COOPER S, only way I'm able to keep/own them is because I do all the wrenching myself. And every car was bought used at a steal.

What constitutes a luxury car? Is it price (above $X, for example), or strictly brand name?

2 luxury cars, rotate every few years, $650K. Most neighbors are the same. That's why I always find the treads about how no one with real $$ would ever waste it on a BMW, Mercedes, etc. Actually, we do.
