I don't know. The male PP sounds like the articulate version of a typical guy with a typical woman. We women often do need to vent, and it helps us feel better but it stresses out or bores most men. We often talk longer and in more detail about things that just don't interest most guys.

That said, they do have some compatibility issues. It probably drives her crazy that he doesn't engage when she talks, and it makes her talk even more to try to get him to respond in some way that meets her needs.

Everyone would probably be happier if she had a super close friend or two she could talk to about all these things. I wish I could have my own wife, in addition to my husband.
