dunkin donuts needs to expand in the district

Dunkin Donuts are not very good. They have a chemical taste and flabby texture. This entire metro area really lacks for donut places.

Doughnuts are so much better in New York!

I can't stand the over-roasted, over-priced Starbucks shit anymore!

get an americano instead of coffee. roughly similar caffeine, much better taste.

pricey though. 2.95 for a the venti is an expensive daily habit to form.

+ 1.

Dunkin has great coffee but there food, including their donuts, is really low quality.

It may not have an over-roasted taste, but it is still over-priced.

Several years ago, a friend of mine half-jokingly looked into Dunkin Donuts franchising rights for DC. Like OP, my friend wanted more locations closer to home.

Apparently, franchising rights are by the region, so opening a single DD in the District isn't possible - you buy in for the rights for the area. And there is apparently - or was - someone / corporation who owned the rights for this area.

Maybe you could identify who that person / corporation is and appeal to them to open more locations in DC proper.
