Help kids with homework, clean the house, write letters, call a friend, take a bath, do a jigsaw puzzle. Have a cup of tea. Do needlepoint.

Read. Internet. Scrabble. Sex. Snuggle & chat naked in bed early. Sometimes get a redbox movie.

After kids are in bed I clean, fold laundry, pack lunch, catch up on work, chat with husband...and go to bed. I wouldn't say I "unwind" but I have no trouble falling asleep.

Couldnt even begin to imagine my nights without tv. After all, since we dont let the kiddos have tv from sunrise to sunset (their waking hours) you think I am going to deprive myself watching my shows? As if!! LOL

I figure when the kids are older, when DH and I are less stressed about work (my deadlines and his furloughs), then I'll go back to reading a book in the evenings.

Some choose not to watch tv because they don't find it enjoyable. It's not a deprivation thing.
