My kids go to a private in the DC area, and I have found this forum is not a good source of accurate info. If the school was ANYTHING like what posters say... no one would go there.

No sh$t Sherlock - but there is no better forum for finding the "dirt" (true and otherwise) on leading private schools. Always keep in mind the main demographic: moms living in the District and close in suburbs.

Let's get back to the comparisons between Prep and Landon. Several of them were quite good, and useful.

Honest question -- Is GP a glorified Gonzaga or is it really I top independent school in the same league as STA, Sidwell and Landon.

Lots of other alternatives. But if you are Catholic and if you and your sons want to continue to be part of the DC Catholic community, you might want to consider the short and long term impact of these "other schools" rather carefully.
