| Is it a possessed toy? We have had a few toys start making noises randomly at night -- a puzzle with sounds, an r/c car, and baby toy. They are all out of our house now. Too freaky. |

You can have auditory hallucinations at night-- it's pretty common. I often think I hear someone calling my name, just as I'm falling asleep. Sometimes I hear music.
Or-- do you have an ipad? Mine has an annoying habit of playing music on its own when I leave my headphones plugged in to it. |

| I hear a distant plane engine late at night. I wake up from a dream and I can barely hear it, just a little plane circling far away. I have heard this since I was three. It used to freak me out!! Crazy thing is my DD told me that she hears the same thing. I asked my mom about it and she said she always heard that, but it went away when she was older!! We are haunted by a tiny airplane. |
