My cavalier mix scoots every now and then but for her it just means she has to poop, or she has poop stuck on her butt. Once she does her business, she's fine. When I took her to a groomer one time, they asked if I wanted them to express her glands. So some groomers offer it as a service - if you don't want to do it yourself it may be cheaper than the vet.
So does poop get on your floors or carpets when she does this?
