Dog doing the scoot

My dog did this and it turned out he had tapeworm. Vet used stool sample to confirm. He had two pills 10 days apart and he stopped scooting a few days after the first pill.

Yes it does. But luckily it has only happened twice and I have wood floors so easy to clean up!

You would do well to take the dog to the vet. If the anal glands are infected, and I'm not saying they are but dogs with this issue are prone to them, it needs to be treated before the glands rupture. That ain't pretty and it's painful for the dog. You'd rather shell out some money for a visit and antibiotics then treating a ruptured gland.
