Please post your PTA dues for your school

Could posters please mention the name of their school so that others at the same school need not repeat the information.

For ex:

Woodlin ES, Silver Spring
$12 per person or $20 per family
free school directory distributed regardless of membership or not

$40. Bethesda. Directory comes with dues. Our PTA is very involved in the school, provide amazing services, probably more than people in the school even know and the directory is super hard to put together (as I am sure they are all hard). The PTA in all the schools work so hard and it is all volunteer so the kids have tons of great benefits and no I am not on the PTA, just respect what they do and have friends who are on it!

That is great, but the same is true of our Silver Spring school that charges $5, and gives the directory to everyone.

$10 for one, 5 for the second member.

They don't sell a thing - so no nickel and diming. They only rely on donations, which is completely MY style. I don't need wrapping paper.

Our PTA lists at least 30 activities and committees (including directory committee) under its umbrella, but for 1/4 of the cost.

DCPS Title 1 education campus (Preschool - 8th)

Frankly, I wish we "suggested" $10. I think people would do it and more people would opt in to participating if they had a small buy-in.

Some PTAs ask for a larger payment to avoid the need for fundraisers, which almost everyone hates. I don't think anyone's being had.
