Showering

I also use soap only on privates and pits, and only a dab every 3 or 4 days. Otherwise it's just water and luffa scrub. I used to use cleansers on my face but have gone to water only unless I wore make-up that day. I want to try the oil cleanse after make-up and see if that works.

Yes, I'm the PP that uses the oil cleansing method. I live in downtown dc and I wear full makeup daily.

I'm guessing that those of you who don't use soap don't exercise or do anything that causes a lot of sweating.

My dermatologist told me that she only uses soap on her underarms and privates.

Or wear sandals, or sit on a public bench in shorts, or lean up against a wall in short sleeves. Ew.

It's one of those bath body scrubbers that are used to exfoliate dead top layer skin.

Only at the beach if I need to rinse off the sand.

OP, I would suggest using a light, moisturizing body wash if the thought of heavy soap grosses you out.

Sorry, but just water does not cut it.

Washing without soap isn't washing, it is rinsing. You need soap to get clean.
