What do you do about clothes after you've lost weight?

I would wear clothes as long as I could and then break down and buy some that were a little too tight. I probably worked myself from a 14, 10, 6 and then was not expecting to make it into a 4, so this is a bonus.

I have held onto my 6's, but donated everything else. No way in hell will I ever be bigger than a 6 unless I become paralyzed.

How did you do it?

This.

I lost over 100 lbs with weight loss surgery and gave away most of my clothes. I tried consignment for some of the better stuff but it was more hassle than it was worth.

Depends on how much weight we're talking about.

I gained 20 lbs a couple of times and had to buy larger pants. I kept the larger sizes when I lost the weight because I suspected I might need them again. And I did, when I was just a little pregnant, and again when I was just a little post-partum. it was nice to not have to buy new stuff.
