His email speaks volumes about what kind of person he is.
Sure, the parents in this case could and should have responded sooner to his emails instead of just leaving them dangle. But then again, it sounds like they had to do a lot behind the scene first to deal with the fallout of this nut. |
I thought this was before the summer tournaments started, not midseason. I didnt read anything to indicate the player was shirking a duty. Dont numerous players make changes at this time?

It seems the kid lived up to his end and the coach compliments his playing the previous weekend. Sounds like this coach (how old is he? He sounds like a mouthy college punk with the way he phrases things so I imagine him to be pretty young) does indeed have anger issues. He's pretty stupid for putting this stuff in writing. He may be a good coach, but if he wants a good business too he needs to pay attention to how he presents himself publicly. |
He is a coach, which is *low priority* when it comes to email reply time in our house. My kids know sports is a hobby and that school comes first. I don't care if it lets the team down. Sports don't matter. |
Then don't be surprised if you get a less than cordial email. |
That's your house. But it's clear from the dad's reply that sports is important in their house. |
Yes, they beat Madlax by a comfortable margin. Ryan played as he always does. Well. |
|
No. The parents and son left the program AFTER the season ended, not in the middle. They did nothing wrong. |
Guy I a wacko!!! His program is garbage.
They bought another garbage program, Chesapeake Rock. Kids will bolt at the end of summer... VLC or FCA offer much better alternatives. |
"Less than cordial email"? (!) That is like saying Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln had a "less than pleasant evening" at Ford's Theater. He emailed a 13-year old boy directly and called him a quitter, and said his former teammates were looking forward to trying to injure him in a game. He emailed the parents that he intended to blackball the youngster from playing college lacrosse. |
BTTT |
Any new info? |
He apparently sent an email to the parents of his club claiming that the email was distorted to exaggerate things.
LOL. He threatens a kid for daring to leave for a different club, and that is somehow not his fault? Nobody should put their kid in his program - look at how the kid/family is viewed as property. |
Hard to see how any of those email comments could be interpreted any differently in any sort of context. he did not conduct himself appropriately. Good that his true character was revealed sonner than later. |
