For a cool vibe, I think Jackie's is probably what you're looking for.

Food at Range was good but menu is all over the place, but its not in Bethesda and parking is annoying. And you'll be eating dinner in a mall.

For a date night in downtown Bethesda, I'd go with Black's, Grapeseed, Jaleo or Redwood. I like the food at Black's and Grapeseed best, but Jaleo and Redwood will have better options for walking around afterward.
