Sickle cell anemia? Lyme disease?

I had a lung function test a few weeks ago which showed mild asthma (but with all these other symptoms I am wondering if it was just diminished lung function)? I need someone to take all this into consideration and tell me what is going on

Are you having palpitations?

Anonymous wrote:15:12 - how were you diagnosed? I had an MRI 3 years ago because of weird symptoms/sensations and they found a few lesions in my brain, but said they weren't in the usual location you would find lesions due to MS. I asked the neurologist what they could be from, and he said "migraines". I told him I don't get migraines and then he said, "a virus". Fast forward a few years and I am having weird symptoms again and am not sure what is going on. The other day my right leg felt like it had fallen asleep and was painfully waking up while I was driving home. Now both my legs hurt. They ache and are really uncomfortable I also have strange sensations in my chest. I think I need to see another neurologist.

Back problems? Like disc issues?

OP are you going to the Dr?

You mentioned low vitamin D---that is a marker for MS, not to scare you. Not causation, but many people who have MS have low vitamin D levels. Tingling in extremities is also a sign of MS. Vertigo is also a sign if you have that. Get yourself to a neurologist (maybe a different one than you saw already). Good luck to you.

Lots of things cause tingling, and low Vit D is correlated but may be causal vs effect.

I have an appt in early August with a neuro. A different neuro than I saw 3 years ago...

Trying to figure out what is going on!

How are you feeling? Legs any better?

Legs are doing a little better. I am upping my Vitamin D levels as I can (10 min exposure to the sun) and then at least 5,000 IUs a day. Trying to take it one day at a time. I really wish I knew what was causing all these symptoms together. I doubt anyone wants me to list them all out but I can if you're curious!

Yes I'm curious!

OP - I have a connective tissue disorder with associated neuro problems and had years of this 'I'm falling apart.' I think if you make a list someone might be able to give you some insight.

Thyroid?

I had all kinds of muscle and joint problems when my thyroid was out of whack. Saw a neuro and had an MRI as they wanted to rule out MS - in the end decided it was all autoimmune.
