Ceiling light fixture for little girls room?

do you even need overhead fixtures? I don't have any in my bedroom and I don't really mind. I have table lamps on the dressers and the nightstands, and many bedrooms have a switch by the door that turns on a light plugged into an outlet near the door.
That said, I like the Maskros and considered it for my daughter's bedroom but found something else before I could get down to Ikea. |

OP here. The rooms are large (14x12 each) but just 8' ceilings. Do you think it will be too big/low? The minimum height is 18 inches, so at would leave us 6.5 feet of clearance, which happens to be how tall my husband is (almost.) |
