| I get ours from Mom's Organic Market or from Whole Foods. There are several full fat plain yogurt brands - Brown Cow? Seven Stars? |
you have got to be kidding me. Honestly? Who does this!!!??? |
pp here, I meant to quote the original post that the first quote was about

My mom has made yogurt my whole life and she doesn't think it's a bigdeal.
Also you can buy a device that makes yogurt that simplifies the process. |
| We love trade joes brad yogurt. The best flavored and full fat. It's everyone's top pick (parents and my kids). |
| Only buy plain. The fruit kinds have about two weeks' worth of sugar in them. |
| Op again, thanks everyone, my goal is to buy the plain full fat and then blend in our own fruit, with no added sugar, at home. |
| I tink YoBaby is full fat. I see that at Giant. |
| Both Giant and Peapod carry Stonyfield organic plain whole milk yogurt. I've seen it in 3-4 stores. If not, just as others suggest, Trader Joe's has it (but not organic if that matters to you). |

06:56 I buy the yobaby now, Im trying to save money though and buy a larger container.
|
I was talking about making homemade yogurt with breastmilk not making yogurt in general
|
I think I just puked in my yogurt. |
Actually that is not true. Plain yogurt has about 6g of sugar per serving. Full fat milk has about 13g of sugar. Yogurts with flavor has about 15g of sugar per serving. Honey is very high in sugar but is a good natural sugar. Sugar just like salt is an important part of a diet if given in the correct amounts. It is actually dangerous to eliminate fat, sugar and salt from diets. While obesity gets all the play on TV 30% of children are underweight. I don't think they should be given empty sugary foods to fullfil their dietary needs but many of us need more fat, sugar and salt in our kids diets because they metabolise them so quickly. Still looking for a salt suplement that is not full of yucky stuff like dyes. |
| We use the Greek Gods brand--full fat Greek yogurt. I searched everywhere for a full fat organic Greek yogurt, but it apparently doesn't exist. Wallaby Organic makes a 2% Greek yogurt, which I also like, but it's not full fat. I buy both at Whole Foods and MOMS. |
Lol, I wouldn't serve it to houseguests or anything. |
