Which RE will work with me -- I am overweight

I am not sure what my BMI was when I was a patient there but I was at least 50 lbs overweight and Dr. Widra never mentioned it ever. I don't recall that they ever even weighed me.

Do not wait!!! Time has a way of passing and it can take awhile before you get pregnant -- once you hit 40 it won't be as simple as it might be at 38. I can't express enough how much I think you need not let your weight stop you from going now. At least get a consultation (maybe at more than one place) and see what they say. FWIW, I really like Dr. Widra.

I would not wait. I had a BMI around 30 and did IVF at SG. Weight never came up as an issue. Given your age, I would seriously not let your weight get in the way. Age is such a big factor in fertility and time is not on your side now and will be less so if you wait to lose some weight.

I did ivf at sg last yr with a Bmi of 37. The cutoff for Ivf at sg is a bmi of 40.
