meh, house is ok. I'm not mad at them.
|
| She's beautiful but wears too much eye makeup in my opinion. I'm happy for them, but I would move to NYC in a heartbeat rather than take that awful commute! Great house though! |

double chins?
|
| Friend of mine went to grad school with her. She wrote her thesis on Donald Rumsfeld. Apparently she followed him around like a puppy. |
| Wankery. |
| Great house. His restaurants are all slophouses, though. |
| So they named their daughter Grace Tracy? Bad, bad, bad. |
| The baby food cookbook was awful. It was pretty snobby. |
| I went to college with the both of them and although I wasn't friends with them, to be honest, they are nice people. Gtown wasn't a huge campus, so everyone 'knew' each other even if they didn't know each other. They both were in a religion class called 'problem of God' with me freshman year. It was kind of interesting because Nora sat up front in class, never missed a class, and asked 5000 questions constantly. Geoff sat in the back, would only ask the occasional question, albeit very pointed and thoughtful. But at the end of the day, they were both just regular folks. It's nice to see them doing so well and balancing all the pulls in their lives. |

The thread cracks me up. If a family of four was living in a seven-bedroom house in VA or MD, the peanut gallery would be all over them for living in a house that is too big, too ostentatious, and so forth. But they live in DC, so you gush all over them.
Anyway, who's going to post a picture of the exterior of their house. If they want all the publicity, they should let us judge on the full picture. |
It seems there must always be at least one word salad lady per forum and you're ours; L'Chaim! |
| Love that house! Absolutely beautiful - but I wonder how it really looks when not staged for pictures. |
All monogrammed everything is as preppy as it gets

| Very cute family. Although I see a little bit of the ol' "dead in the eyes" in Mommy. |
| Love the house. I'd be tempted to buy it if they move to NYC. Although I can't believe the article is focused on the need to redo the kitchen - it's a super nice kitchen, especially the butlers pantry. |
