Are there maternity pants in existence that don't fall down?

I'm on my second pregnancy in 2 years and I swear by the "Secret Fit Belly" at Motherhood. I tried Old Navy and Target and the just plain don't work. They are bagged up and headed for consignment.

I had one pair of maternity pants that EVER fit well - jeans. I also had a maternity pants jumper which looked and felt great except when I had to use the toilet. What did I wear? Those plus a dress jumper until I received Xmas gifts of men's athletic pants and sweats with elastic at the ankles. They were extremely comfortable for a large cold weather pregnancy plus went in the dryer. I shopped often but felt the maternity clothes were a rip-off and not as comfortable.

i have 2 pairs of secret fit belly jeans from motherhood. one is technically an "under the belly" band which i actually wear over my belly and it's quite comfortable. I LOVE THEM!!! the other pair has a beige secret fit panel and I HATE THEM. they are an over the belly fit and they are always falling down, plus since it's a beige panel, the slightest drop and everyone can see the big ol' panel. yech. i wear them only when i absolutely have to.

all their non-jean pants i love. i wear all of the panels over my belly and have never had a problem.

I have tried 3 very different pair -- the Secret Fit from Motherhood, a high-end brand with a couple of elastic side inserts, and an elastic-waist pair. And they're ALL terrible! The high-end pair is the worst -- it rides so low to begin with, it's *totally* indecent every time I bend over.

Finally gave in tonight and bought some maternity suspenders. www.maternitytuggs.com I'm a cheapskate, so felt a bit crazy shelling out $20, but decided it's worth $5/month for some peace of mind in the next 4 months!

Will try to remember to come back here and post the results, once I've tried them....

Only my Old Navy maternity yoga pants stay up. In truth, they are so awesome that I never stopped wearing them after I had dd - now I am pregnant with #2. I wish I could wear yoga pants to work.

Last week I went to Ann Taylor Loft in search of pants, and when I found the jeans with the over-the-belly waistband I was sooo happy. Yesterday, I was at a cooking class and spent the whole hour pulling my pants up. My conclusion is: even if your pants are from a very good store like ATL, you won'be happy. Target has those Champion elastic pants that fit perfectly...for walking or exercising, but not for those nights of glamour...
