showing houses on weekends?

Yes, but they split 6%. So the buying agent and the selling agent EACH get 3%. They have to pay some fees to their broker and taxes but most of it is theirs.

They usually split it with their agency.

I would think the weekends are the most important time for an agent to work. If you can't work on the weekends, you shouldn't sell residential real estate.
