Hey, whats wrong with Founding Farmer? I think they're pretty good...

Looks like Bridges got Best Preschool, Deal got Best Middle School, and Wilson got Best High School. Georgetown got both Best College/University and Best Grad Program.

I know it's just a Reader Poll, but it turns out there are a lot of good picks.

Love Clemyjontri, too, but it's a bit of a geographic stretch for "City" Paper

OMG. Seriously OP? The only way I can think this would make my head explode instead of just rolling my eyes as I am, is if I were one of your fellow YY parents. Such a curiosity how YY always gets bashed on here, I mean, WHY could it be?!

I thought the same about Pyle MS in Montgomery County, although they've got some nice playing fields. I guess people out the 'burbs must pick up the occasional paper too.

They serve cocktails at YY? To parents as well or just to kids? Wow, maybe I won't turn down my slot tomorrow as I'd planned....

Only if they have an Asian theme: Mai Tai, Singapore Sling, etc.

If you are going to turn down the spot, you should at least say what grade. Some of us on the waitlist are on pins and needles over this with tuition due to private school in June.

Honey/Dude, if you think a post saying that serving cocktails to children would be the factor that would change a parent's mind about accepting/declining, you actually need to go out and get a drink and relax! That was entirely a joke, which means sadly there is no news here in my post re: an actual spot about to be turned down. HOWEVER... I do think the school expects waitlist movement after tomorrow, so stay tuned!

The washington post gave it half a star. Half a star! Not even a full star! Me thinks you drink too much to taste your food.

HA HA. +1000

No, just two years. Probably the "obama date night" effect.

Actually, it was four years. 2010, 2011, 2012, and now 2013. You have to scroll around to see it, it isn't always at the top.
