I keep a gun, a dildo, and a bible in my safe.
No money - I figure I can get whatever I need with one of those. |
Funny, I did that when Obama was elected and added two more guns and another safe. |
They'll never find it.
|
Sure, until someone has a bigger gun. |
Yes, we keep about $200 as well. |
| not cash perse but i do keep precious metals. |
| Never, a bad idea. |
+1000 Hey sole sistah.... |
|
$1000 in cash
full tanks of gas car charger 2 cases of bottled water plus soda and starbucks bottled drinks crackers apples bananas rubbing alcohol full tub of water |
| Alcohol? Do tell. |
| I keep between $200-400. We use this money to pay baby-sitters, delivery (if we did not charge before hand), and to tip delivery folks. It's also useful if one of us wants to walk down to the local supermarket/strip mall and don't want to take a full wallet/purse. I reload the money about once/month. |
|
Typically $20-$100 in my wallet and whatever's in my kid's piggy bank. If I hear of a storm coming, I fill up the tank and get an extra $100 or so out.
I also have a ton of quarters, silver dollars and $2 bills I could use in a pinch, plus the parking money in my car. |

We never have cash on hand and it's annoying. It's always means a special trip to the ATM for valet tips, delivery tips, etc.
If shit goes REALLY nuts, money won't be worth dick anyway so I don't really think about that. |
| $200-$500. I don't ever put cash in the bank, so if someone gives me cash for any reason it just gets added to the collection. Comes in handy on spontaneous weekends away or take out and constantly gets replenished. |
For past disasters, it's been cash and carry. |
