Landon School Disaster

I would have clicked on any school "disaster." But for me the most recent school "disaster" was at Sandy Hook Elementary. Words have definitions and OP's situation is not a "disaster."

Try picking up the phone instead of posting on DC Urban moms.

PP, if there is a disaster, you want to know. It could impact your, directly or indirectly, emotionally or mentally.

Do you honestly think a Landon parent would not have been concerned seeing a header like that?

Call the Admin office. Not sure why posting here seemed like the most direct route to resolve your question?

OP, stop fretting. I'm sure your kid didn't get in.

OP - I am guessing you are not really interested in having your child attend Landon - as this doesn't seem like a good way to start out as a new member of that community? You must have "written them off" already to post this in a public forum.

It probably is USPS's fault and even it is is Landon's fault - what if your child was accepted but something got lost along the way? This is not what I'd call a very tactful approach - you have now identified yourself to Landon via this outlet as a rather aggressive "knee jerk" reaction parent.

You'd probably be better served if you scale that back, no matter where you end up.
