Can you give an example of what this mom could say to an administrator to get something good for her child, and something bad for other kids?

You mean something like preferred placement in a class with a teacher she likes? What is it she wants from the administrators?

I have never asked the school principal for ANYTHING and am having a hard time imagining "polishing their apples" to get anything.

OP, I know whom you are mentioning - first hand! Stay far, far away. As for administration, trustee - they are not a fraction as naive as the woman you mention. They know exactly what she is about. She is winning over NO ONE. She needs to learn to grow up and keep her mouth shut - she is her OWN worst enemy!

Stay away. She will bury herself. I have seen it first hand. Let it go.
