And look what happened. little snow

Who can rely on weather reports?

We could have opened today.

And I'm a teacher.

And had it snowed a foot and you were in school you would be the first to have your panties in a twist.

Sure, with the benefit of hindsight. With forecasts calling for 7-14" of snow, I think they made the right decision.

My kids are in grades that have converted to 2.0. They don't learn anything so MCPS may as well close for the rest of the month.

nah

My daughter's school is across the street from where I teach, and my husband, also a teacher, works close to my son's preschool.

So we're good.

Thanks for taking interest in my panties, btw.

I hope you enjoyed your rain/slush.

And how funny that I - a teacher - am being raked over the coals for actually WANTING to work on a wasted snow day . . .

Go figure.

a joke?
Jokes are funny. The comment about 2.0 wasn't humorous, however.

It was clearly a sarcastic comment.
Sarcasm is based on truth - or someone's perception of the truth.
