OP here. That's cute. My DD gets boxes of fun Band-Aids (fairy, Olivia, etc.) for her birthday, holidays, as a reward, and so on. I'm hoping the whole ice cream parlor experience will be fun and exciting for her!

Thomas sweet is my fav. But Cheesecake Factory in Chevy chase might be fun for her...yes it's a cheesy chain but it has some very impressive sundaes.

I am the PP. Another goofy story about DD. One Christmas we put Tic Tacs in her stocking. She was always jonesing after those things. Well, what was her favorite gift that yjavascript:emoticon('');ear - the Tic Tacs of course. Now she's 18 and her favorite gifts are from Bloomingdales, J. Crew and Nordstrom and a raft of internet shopping sites. Oh well. I hope you have fun with your daughter!
